I'm a web and brand designer. I've been in business since May 2017. I primarily work with coaches.
I had no clue how to put all the pieces of my (non-existence) process together. That resulted in loss of time and money.
I was just getting started with my business and I was a hot mess :). I needed directions on everything – from intake questions to delivery and support. I didn't know what I was doing and needed for that to change.
I know how to talk about my process (during calls), and I know how to implement the said process. I am confident in my abilities to actually lead projects to completion.
Before Designing to Delight, I had ZERO processes. And it was a mess. I was basically figuring things out as I went. That, of course, impacted the way I viewed myself and how much I was charging.
The other thing that changed (very unexpectedly) is I became a much better designer. I am self-taught, with a business that was 4 months old when I bought the course.The course taught me design principles that would have taken me SO much longer to figure out by myself!
The fact that the Facebook groups members are supportive, and that Christine is so kind, are icing on the cake.
I now feel very confident about my process. I know exactly how to onboard clients and what to do at each step. I am also confident in charging more and explaining why. I also know how to set healthy boundaries. Heck, I can own being a web designer, and a good one at that!
